A sneak peak at Easter
Easter is just around the corner and thankfully our pastry chefs have found a way to make these tough times a bit sweeter. Enjoy a classic Italian colomba, or dove-shaped sweet, leavened bread traditionally eaten during the Easter season. This year our pastry chefs will be preparing two flavours:
Calandra – colomba made with extra virgin olive oil, candied citron, candied orange peel and a sweet almond topping
Eccezionale – colomba made with butter, chocolate sauce and chocolate chips, topped with sugar and hazelnuts.
Both weigh 750gr and are on sale for 30 euro at our shop In.gredienti for those of you in the Padua area. You can also order online and have them shipped throughout Italy.
More sweet surprises will soon be available, including chocolate eggs and a complete Easter menu.
